Responsibilities:

 

• Lead concept/ product development projects in collaboration with hospital/surgeon customers.
• Understand gaps and needs and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Will be responsible for the success of all assigned projects.
• Works within a cross-functional team across the organization

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Mechanical Design Engineering

• Product support engineering experience
• Knowledge of Reverse engineering
• Detailing Concepts
• 3D CAD modeling
• Generation of manufacturing 2D drawings
• GD&T & Stack-up analysis
• DFMEA, FMEA/Risk Analysis
• Developing and Testing Prototypes
• Completing Test Requests
• Need to follow drawing specifications
• Reviewing technical documents

 

• Project Management
• Managing meetings and teleconferences
• Communicating design and ideas to team
• Following design procedures and completing deliverables

Technical Skills

 

·         Generation of manufacturing 2D drawings(with GD&T & Stack-up analysis)

·         Complete Product Design & Development cycle experience

·         Reverse engineering & Value Engineering

·         3D CAD modeling (Pro-E, Windchill)

·         Initiative, Drive, Ownership

·         FMEA/Risk Analysis

·         Testing and Prototyping

·         Project Management and Documentation

·         Concept generation

·         Knowledge of Manufacturing & materials(both metals and Plastics)
