Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in complex Reports, Dashboard and Scorecard design.
  • Strong development Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2005/2008 and Performance Point Server 2007. Minimal 1 year hands-on SQL Server 2008, 3 years SQL Server 2005 and 1.5 years Performance point server 2007.
  • Well versed in writing MDX queries, CLR procedure, advanced use of filters to drive interactive Dashboard, Trend/Banding logic, familiarity with PPS 2010, SharePoint.
  • SSRS experience should include advanced expressions, sub-reports, advanced parameters, and experience with appropriate data visualization and design techniques. 
  • Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
  • Able to efficiently communicate technical needs and objectives.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Good to have:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Data Warehouse/BI Off-shore Lead

General Description:

The Data warehouse off-shore Lead will help manage the planning and delivery of data warehouse architecture design, providing sizing and configuration and performing needs assessments. Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures, and identifies future business opportunities for leveraging the data warehouse. The Lead should have strong knowledge and understanding of the Oracle Prebuilt analytics ETL architecture and the ability to develop and understand complex ETL mappings. The lead should also closely work with on-site lead to manage workloads among 4-5 team members on-site and off-site.

Essential Functions:

·             Reviews and analyzes data warehouse requirements, develops detailed modeling specifications to meet identified requirements.

·             Must be able to assist in the data analysis efforts necessary to resolve data issues encountered during the course of the project.

·             Responsible for all tasks involved in extracting, transforming and loading data from Oracle E-Business applications into the Oracle Pre-Built analytics Data warehouse.

·             Ability to understand and create complex mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and experience using DAC for scheduling and monitoring of jobs.

·             Must have experience installing and configuring the Oracle Pre-Built Analytics and DAC software.

·             Designing detailed ETL specifications based on business requirements.

·             Documentation of all development processes and unit testing.
