Project Manager -Testing

Reports to                       : General Manager/Vice-President

Type                                  : Permanent

Work Location              : Bangalore

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose is to oversee the relevant framework (for the areas of Testing & Process & Methodology) is fit for the purpose and to manage various resources (including human) to ensure the deliverables (i.e. testing, design work and user guides) are completed within agreed timescale, budget and quality criteria. 

Accountability:

Accountable for the team who delivers the deliverables, team’s output, for successful implementation of frameworks

Responsibilities:

-          Strategize, design and manage the execution of project using industry standards of best practices and methodologies

-          Overall accountable for the deliverable

-          Improve and optimize the relevant frameworks

-          Evaluate and implement the appropriate tools and assets to aid production of deliverables

-          Collaborate with other project team managers to analyze project requirements and lead the team for the creation of deliverables

-          Review concerns/issues with the team and communicate with other project team managers to seek improvements

-          Perform the collection, collation, analysis of statistics, compile and share lessons learned, and follow up on improvements/corrective actions proposed

-          Source & recommendation the right technology to assist production processes

Requirement and experience   

-          At least 10-15 years of relevant working experience (testing,) with at least 5 years in management role doing budget management & building teams

-          Experience in the full spectrum of system development work (ranging from requirement till implementation) as well as strong understanding of business processes.

-          Degree in computer science, information technology, management of information systems or equivalent 

-          Istqb/ISEB (advanced level - manager) and/or CSTE certification(s) is an added advantage

-          Usability certification

Assistant Manager Operations (Non Voice)

Eligibility Criterion:

·         High Analytical abilities, arithmetical & Reasoning Skills with inclination towards financial services

·         Team Management Ability & should be have managed a team of  15-20 TM's in the last role

·         Should have basic understanding of Annuities (Variable Annuities).  Someone with certification like LOMA/ AAPA will be preferred.

 

Required Skills:

·         Good written and verbal Communication Skills

·         Good Knowledge of Computers and Usage of  Computer System/MS Office

·         High Customer service orientation

 

Minimum Qualification: Graduation

 

Years of Experience:

-        Total of 6- 8 years of BPO Experience.

-        Should be in a Team Leader's role for at least 2 years.

Senior Oracle Application DBA

 

Responsibilities:

The Role & Responsibilities shall include:

·         Provide day to day and project support for Oracle Applications. This includes but is not limited to: patch analysis and deployment, cloning and database tuning.

·         Communicate to stakeholders via standard methods (e.g. orally, email, ticket system)

·         Resolve incidents and problems. Communication of same to stakeholders.

·         Facilitate the promotion of application code, setups, databases and related components from the various levels of development through staging and production

·         Follow standard ITSS operational methods utilizing ITSS’ standard tool set

·         Development of technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation

·         Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning and testing

·         Experience / Education – Graduate in any stream with at least 5 to 7 yrs experience on Oracle Application DBA.
