Candidate Profile

        2.5 - 3 years of experience in customer/partner/technical service related roles 

        Current .Net (Asp.Net/VB.Net/C#.Net) technologies supported

        Hands on experience on SQL server 2005/2008

        Knowledge on OOPS concept, RDBMS, WCF/WPF

        Demonstrate passion for MS products and technologies

        Advanced technical problem solving skills

        Experience delivering technical presentations

Business Development Manager - Education

Role Summary:

·         Responsible for achieving strategic objectives while maximizing relationship between Microsoft and stakeholders in the education segment in the Public Sector - State Government space. The job entails development and execution of a comprehensive business plan involving sales and marketing engagements, readiness and skills development of accounts from a perspective of strategic and long term projects.

·         This person will be accountable for driving our strategic initiatives in the segment and establishing a predictable rhythm of the business from a 12 to 18 month perspective.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead in State related Education Initiatives.

Solutions Sales Specialist – Software Services

The Solutions Sales Specialist – Software Services (SSP – SS) is leads the hosting solutions and sales in local subsidiary and is responsible for in-country hosting business P&L. He/She develops and manages the plan for hosting partners, marketing programs, and SI partners. And He/She drives the hosting business across the various business divisions and with fully aligned plan with regional/global hosting business units. He/She is also responsible for managing the SPLA resellers in the country. The purpose of the role is to manage sales and marketing activities, to build up strategic partnership with service providers and to proactively act against competition.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for the achievement of Hosting business unit revenue, profitability and market share targets

·         Develop and manage sales and partner engagement strategies of Hosting business unit

o   Drive Tier 1 Hosters/ Service Providers strategy and execution

o   Drive Tier 2 Hostings/ Service Providers strategy and ensure SMS&P team execution and support of Tier 2 partners

·         Manage Hosting Business Operations engagement with Regional Operations Center

·         Generate tailored marketing strategies and drive Hosting solution sales engagement to be aligned with marketing strategies. Negotiate with other groups (SMS&P, EPG, BMO (BGs)) for joint funding of hosting/sell-with marketing campaigns as necessary.

·         Convince and negotiate with related people in LCA, SMS&P, BMO (BGs) and EPG to ensure SPLA and other licensing agreements are appropriately negotiated and maintained within compliance of the agreement

·         Analyze customer/partner/market needs and capture new business opportunities with service providers by aligning market demands with Microsoft solutions

·         Responsible for communicating across subsidiary hosting solution sales, regional team and global team for sales issues, enhancement, and new solution needs. Escalate  feedback and requests to regional hosting business unit lead and product / solution group

·         Localize the competition strategies with aligning with regional/global plan and manage it by teaming with DPE, PR and CSI team.

·         Increase the Windows Market share in hosting market

·         To nurture, cultivate and manage regional/global hosting sales partners (SI, ISV) by teaming with Comms Sector partner manager, EPG partner manager and SMS&P Partner Account Management team.

·         Manage the resources of the Hosting Business Unit

·         Partner with Human Resources to develop appropriate people strategies to attract, develop and retain top performers

·         Establish and monitor budgets for operating and capital expenditure

·         Ensure efficient use of Hosting solution sales resources; ensuring efficient deployment of skills and information exchange

·         Complete realistic and cost effective budget and input into hosting business unit review and annual business plan

 

Requirements:

Ø  Min 8 yrs of related working experience in sales, business development, partner development and/or channel management

Ø  Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or related discipline

Ø  MBA is preferred

Ø  Proven sales and sales management track record especially in a Hosting or Services Provider environment

Ø  Ability to analyze the market and execute detailed marketing plan

Ø  Ability to build up strategic partnership with customers and partners

Ø  Extensive understanding of the Telecom/ASP/ISP/xSP/WebServices business

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Account Technology Specialist

 

The Account Technology Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Account Managers in managing an assigned set of accounts in India. This position will help drive the overall sales strategy in the assigned account.

Responsibilities:

·         Understand the current and future technical challenges for assigned customer segment, and based on that understanding, formulate and execute an overarching technical strategy with specific and detailed tactics to evangelize Microsoft’s products and technologies leading to customer-specific solutions

·         Understand Microsoft and competitive technologies and strategy and formulate plans to address competitive sales efforts. Create, manage, and own sales of Microsoft solutions to CXO-level and technical architect level customers. Integrate and plan for partners and Microsoft Services in efforts to ensure successful transition from pre-sales to deployment

·         Develop and support the sales of solution offerings relevant to the infrastructure and application servers, knowledge workers, and developers

·         Positively impact on customer satisfaction. Build and maintain technical relationships between Microsoft and key technical personnel within assigned accounts, their systems integrators and Microsoft partners and use your technical knowledge and skills to influence these decision makers

·         Provide technical consultation on sales calls, Executive Briefing Center visits and other account related activities by the account team executives

·         Coordinate efforts with other Microsoft and partner personnel, and leverage their activities to help achieve sales objectives

·         Conduct one-to-many presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts

Requirements:

·         Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with preferably an MCSE or equivalent professional certification

·         Expertise should include broad and/or in-depth knowledge in the following Microsoft products and technologies: Windows 2008 Server family, Active Directory, Internet Information Server, Office 2010, Windows 7, SQL Server 2008, Exchange 2010, and Visio Studio .NET

As a Quality Lead you will be handling language and intercultural learning for managers and individual contributors.   You will ensure program quality through monitoring and executing on program quality goals and their fulfillment, and recommend changes to further enhance quality.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Observe training and coaching sessions, and track and report alignment with quality metrics and program guidelines.  Share feedback as needed with L&D specialists, leads and team members.

·         Ensure team compliance with all data-gathering processes and reporting

·         Anticipate emerging program quality needs for serving the business

·         Support effective implementation of impact metrics for language and intercultural learning and quality assurance and driving business value

·         Calibrate on quality of interaction with team standards for written and spoken communication

·         Give input to program manager and leads on developing quality monitoring plans for lines of business served in line with data on staff performance and consultation with managers
·         Evaluate team-members’ progress and complete all reporting requirements as needed, reporting out to program manager, operations manager and leads as needed.
·         Liaise with operations and solutions groups as required.  Keep accurate, up-to-date records.

·         Work a 5-day work week with somewhat variable day / night shifts based on business needs.
