BD MANAGER

Reports to: Regional Director – South Asia

Purpose:

Responsible for the long term viability of the company’s business applications as well as the short term revenue targets in eGovernment Business in India.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic account management and sales team for assigned territory(ies).
• Responsible for overall revenue targets for eGovernment Business in assigned territory(ies).
• Participate in trade shows, event hosting and marketing events.
• Pursue major prospects, business opportunities and lead in major negotiations constructing appropriate terms of sales.
• Responsible for establishing excellent client relationships with strategic customers.
• Supervise, direct and train sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Analyze, identify, develop and implement strategies for business development (new and existing businesses) for local market.
• Work with regional/country team to:
• Monitor and analyze business teams’ budget, sales performance, sales and marketing activities (e.g. campaigns, email mailers, etc)

o   Develop impactful and segment-specific business growth strategies and programmes

• Set targets and monitor revenue & pipelines
• Responsible for revenue targets.
• Champion the deepening and expansion of company's domain knowledge and expertise in eGovernment domains.
• Develop proposals with inputs on deal and financial structures, technology, sales pitch and customer/market-specific nuances from other teams in the company and External Business Partners.
• Work with Delivery and External Partners on all costings of the NPV sheet.
• Negotiate with partners and vendors.
• Conduct pre- and post-sales studies and reports on eGovt areas of interest to (actual & potential) customers, translate their needs into concrete business and technical terms so that these opportunities can be converted into real businesses.
• Any other duties as and when assigned

Minimum Qualification: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing/ IT

Supervision Received: 

• Broad direction from supervisor

Supervision Exercised: 

• Lead and manage team(s) of Executives/ Senior Executives

Experience required:

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience with at least 4 years of experience in interacting with government clients. You must have a proven track record in business development and possess strong negotiation and communication skills
• Team orientation and an ability to coach and mentor others
• Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve targets

The Role

The SQL Support team will be responsible for delivering SQL Server support for all the customers. Utilizing knowledge of the customer environment, they will deliver timely and high quality incident resolution focusing on root cause analysis, prevention, and knowledge transfer. They will effectively manage cases and sub-cases to ensure timely and high quality communication with customers and resolution of all issues.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with corporate customers via telephone, email, and other electronic communications regarding problems.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs; may involve writing custom code.
• Participate in case triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and develop efficient customer solutions.
• Write technical articles and sample programs for Microsoft's knowledge base.

Qualifications, Abilities and Experience should include:

• Strong Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) knowledge and experience. 
• Hands on  experience on SQL/Oracle DBA activities.(At least 2.5+ yrs)
• Experience on clustering will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge gained from experience in Microsoft® SQL Server versions 2000 and 7.0 is required
• Good understanding of the concepts of Operating Systems is required
• Microsoft Certified Application Developer and/or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer  and/or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator certification
• MCP Certified in at least one of the Microsoft Programming Technologies
• Similar Certifications in other high end RDBMS product will be an advantage
• Experience of at-least 3 years in the technical environment mentioned above is desirable.

Purpose:

Responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective partners and customers  

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Provide support to team in solutioning and consulting and pitch development/ drafting support
• Able to articulate solutions features benefits, and advanced concepts.
• Need business and technical imagination to create unique solutions for our clients’ unique needs.
• Ensure that all costing inputs are acquired internal teams and external business partners, including hardware/software configuration & sizing, effort estimates, licensing, professional services, etc.
• Work with management in negotiation with vendors.
• Assist in conducting scoping of customer requirements, prepares technical proposals and conduct technical presentation and solution demos for customers.
• Conduct training support for account management and sales staff to equip them to sell our solutions & channel partners.
• Assist in preparation of marketing/sales collaterals and sales training kits with inputs from Corp Comms and business teams.
• Assist in conduct of pre- and post-sales studies and reports on eGovt areas of interest to (actual & potential) customers.
• Possess a great deal of cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Developing POC (Proof of Concept)/Prototypes

Minimum Qualification/ Requirement: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Business Administration/ IT
• Frequent travel is expected
• Should have Experience on Java, J2EE or .Net skills
• Knowledge on new technologies as Oracle Fusion would be an advantage
