Business Development Manager

Location – Delhi/Bangalore

Job Description

As part of the business development team for a specific category, the person will be responsible for:

  • Building and Managing a team of business development executives
  • Responsible for targets, incentives and revenue for the category
  • Building and managing brand relationships in the geography – including deals, preferred pricing and preferred treatment.
  • Manage the execution of marketing assignments in the geography
  • Building and developing supplier / distributor relationships
  • Managing accounts of suppliers / distributors
  • Responsible for market research on price data, product movement, competition pricing, product bundling, etc.
  • Develop a very good understanding of the category and become an expert on the sales and supply side of the given category

Requisite Skills -

  • MBA (preferably Marketing) from premier B-School like IIM/FMS/XLRI/SP Jain etc.
  • At least 2 yrs of experience in Vendor Relations, Sales, BD, Account Management
  • Should have “exceptional” communication skill
  • Extremely good in inter-personal skills – ability in striking conversation borne out with examples in prior work experience
  • Should have a good presentation

·         Should be an extroverted personality who enjoys being and talking with people, high energy level and a positive approach.

·         Should be a quick learner and target oriented.
