License Compliance - Senior Data Analyst

Work Location: Bangalore

As a part of License Compliance Team, the License Compliance Senior Data Analyst will focus primarily on analyzing and processing customers’ software deployment reports at the end of the customers’ Enterprise License Agreements. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Analyze customers’ software deployment as reported by customer, auditing for completeness and accuracy of the data Ask questions and request clarification of information provided from customer and sales representative, if necessary

·         Interpret Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) commercial contract terms and conditions to identify specific terms that affect the analysis and reporting requirements of customer’s software deployment

·         Research customer history of extraordinary corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, reorganizations, etc.) using Hoover’s and company websites

·         Research and identify purchases made outside of the customer’s ELA contract

·         Create a reconciliation report and file service requests to update records

·         Work with internal teams to ensure customers’ install base and customer portal records are updated appropriate and in a timely manner

·         Maintain complete customer records on SharePoint

·         Communicate regularly with US License Compliance Manager to understand deliverables and expectations via phone, web meetings, or emails

·         Ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:

·         Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Law or Accounting preferred. (other majors OK with requisite experience)

·         Experience working in a License Compliance function or in Auditing, Accounting or Financial data analysis required

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience acting as an analyst or equivalent role

·         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required

·         Proficiency using advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint required.  Access and Oracle skills considered a plus

·         Exceptional organizational and time management skills

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills required

·         Experience performing basic commercial contract analysis

·         Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced, matrix managed environment

·         Experience working within the software/technology sector strongly preferred
