Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Position overview:

-        Manage the FP&A team based out of Bangalore

-        Provide support to FP&A team based in Palo Alto, US

-        Act as the Finance business partner for the India General Manager

Responsibilities:

·         Provide support to US based FP&A Managers/directors in detailed researching of variances by understanding GL and transactional level details

·         Produce Management reports and analysis for assigned functional groups

·         Produce department level T&E report by person with trend analysis and distribute to various functional groups within the company.

·         Produce detailed headcount reports for assigned functional group

·         Develop reports and analysis on per person cost at a country level

·         Produce monthly score card reports for assigned organization

·         Analyze Capital expenditure relative to forecast and Plan

·         Assist with monthly forecasts and annual plans as needed

·         Effectively establish a finance business partnership with the India General Manager and his direct reports

 

Education Required:

·         CA

 

Experience Required:

·         At least 7-10 years of experience in finance/accounting with an emphasis on financial analysis techniques with or on behalf of large companies.

 

Skills:

·         Prior experience with financial planning and analysis and interfacing with business teams

·         Prior experience in business support roles

·         Ability to build analytical models that can be driven into standard planning tools

·         Strong initiative and desire to work in a team-oriented environment

·         Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills

·         Proficiency in computer-based analysis and complex financial modeling

·         Experience with Microsoft Excel, Oracle Financials, and FP&A software tools

·         Strong written and spoken English skills

·         Ability to work in a remote environment

·         Strength in researching, understanding and explaining complex transactions and business impact

·         Integrity
