Senior Design Engineer Testing (SDET)

For Bangalore based solution Dev partner for software businesses.

Description:                  

·         Develop test design specs and test cases for product features.

·         Participate in the creation of the overall test automation strategy.

·         Modify and extend the test automation framework.

·         Run automated tests and analyze test results.

·         Create and execute test cases.

·         Write defect reports and verify fixed defects.

·         Work closely with developers and program managers to prioritize test automation creation.

·         Be able to work as part of virtual team and have excellent cross team collaboration skills.

Requirements:            

·         Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in writing test automation. Minimum of 1.5 years programming experience, which includes at least 1 year developing with C#

·         Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance processes and software development lifecycles.

·         Ability to work within the project teams and across the product groups.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Has completed at least one full software development cycle from concept through delivery.

·         Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent work experience.

Desired Knowledge/Skills:

·         Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL and Web technologies

·         Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Refactoring, Iterative Planning and other Agile methods
