BI Developer-SSRS

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in complex Reports, Dashboard and Scorecard design.
• Strong development Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2005/2008 and Performance Point Server 2007. Minimal 1 year hands-on SQL Server 2008, 3 years SQL Server 2005 and 1.5 years Performance point server 2007.
• Well versed in writing MDX queries, CLR procedure, advanced use of filters to drive interactive Dashboard, Trend/Banding logic, familiarity with PPS 2010, SharePoint.
• SSRS experience should include advanced expressions, sub-reports, advanced parameters, and experience with appropriate data visualization and design techniques. 
• Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
• Able to efficiently communicate technical needs and objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Good to have:

• Programming with Transact SQL, .net and Windows Powershell.
• Administration of SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 Database Engine.
• Experience in planning system resource capacity for SSRS and PPS2007.

Desired Profile

• Strong & proven BI Developer experience
• Certification MCITP – Business Intelligence Developer, Performance point Server 2007;
• Tertiary qualifications in a technical or business discipline would also be an advantage
• Excellent communication & documentation skills;

Soft Skills

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be well organized.
• Interact internally and externally on a daily basis to achieve department / work unit goals.

Education:

• B.Tech/MCA/B.E/M.Tech/MS. -  Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications
• Experience: 3 - 6 years
