Primary Responsibilities
· Provide hands-on management and leadership for the functional groups of Bangalore License Compliance team by developing best practices, communicating priorities, identifying gaps, reviewing all work products, and driving change as necessary. Functional groups within License Compliance include:
o Financial Analyst group that researches and analyzes the data to identify candidates for license compliance reviews, is responsible for financial reporting, and owns the accuracy and completeness of the group’s data sources.
o Entitlement Model group that analyzes internal data and determines customers’ complete license and support and subscription entitlement.
o Data Analysis group that collects deployment data from Enterprise License Agreement customers, verifies that customer has met the terms and conditions of the agreement, and analyzes the deployment data.
o Communications group that composes and issues formal written communication to internal sales professionals, customer CIOs, and senior executives
o Engagement Management Partner group that supports US and EMEA engagement managers in all aspects of license compliance reviews including entitlement analysis, determining audit scope, negotiation planning, and final documentation.
· Hire and expand Bangalore team to meet demands of growing workload; work with US management to forecast personnel demands and partner with local recruiters to source well-qualified candidates
· Ensure that all groups provide high-quality output. Initiate projects to improve the quality preparation and review processes and devise programs to increase licensing and technical knowledge of team members

· Track and report key performance indicators, resource utilization and other dashboard metrics to highlight successes as well as to target areas of improvement.
· Provide mentoring, coaching and feedback to develop the team in Bangalore; communicate expectations and escalate personnel issues in a timely manner.
· Prepare budgets and forecasts, as required
· Travel as needed.
Qualifications
· MBA or Chartered Accountant is strongly preferred; Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (other majors OK with requisite experience)
· Experience managing a Global License Compliance, Auditing, Accounting or Finance functions required
· Minimum of ten years of overall work experience including at least five years experience as a people Manager
· Experience managing Financial Planning & Analysis analysts or Accountants is a plus
· Proven ability to improve quality.
· Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrix-managed environment required
· Proven ability to work effectively with people from international teams using strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Continuous improvement attitude and competency; including a proactive approach to identifying problems and providing solutions
· Proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint required and OLAP tools preferred.
