Job description for Product Q.A

 

Primary Responsibility

 

·         Responsible for planning, creating and executing test cases, within a multi-platform

environment

·         Writing test cases, test scripts from Functional Requirement documents

·         Provide full test reports and report any issues to relevant parties

·         Work towards automation of regression and sanity testcases

·         Verifying areas of performance and assisting in the review of existing test cases and procedures

 

Required experience and knowledge

 

·         1 to 5 years of relevant experience in mobile app and web testing

·         Good working knowledge & experience on testing UI applications on mobile devices like iPhone, Android and Blackberry

·         Proficiency in usability testing with a focus on customer experience

·         Good understanding of SDLC, defect life cycle and defect management

·         Experience in developing test plan and test cases for native app and web app testing

·         Experience on Java script and test automation solutions for Apple, Blackberry and Android devices preferred

·         Experience on integration of any standard test automation tool (HP QTP, Rational Robot, Selenium) with Mobile application testing will be added advantage

·         Anyone having good experience on Web testing/UI testing can also apply

·         Relevant certification like CSTE, ISEB etc. will be a strong advantage
