SOLUTION ARCHITECT IN MEDICAL DEVICES
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Medical Device Engineer/Architect seeking a challenge in making things happen in the Medical Device Industry with the ability to drive a fast paced, startup-like, high energy environment. In this Pre-Sales Solution Architect role, you will work closely with Medical Device Sales team to further develop Medical Device business opportunities with prospective customers. This includes determining their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions. This person will lead the Medical Device business opportunity pursuit team from a technology perspective.
Education & Aptitude:
- Graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering preferably from a University in the USA AND 3 years Medical Device Industry experience OR Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from IIT/IISc/National Institutes of Technology with 3 years Medical Device Industry experience OR M.Tech & MBA or MBBS & M.Tech years experience in Medical Device Industry OR any Engineering degree with over 5 years direct industry experience in Class III Medical Devices
- Good Biomedical Engineering knowledge with a Strong FDA mindset
- In-depth understanding of QSRs, DHF, Design Controls, 510 K, PMA, MDD & ISO 13485
- Superlative presentation skills and impeccable written skills in American Business English.
- Die-hard optimist, entrepreneurial team player with strong leadership qualities.
- Strong customer orientation, driven, mix of technology mindset and commercial attitude.

- Provides technical leadership in the sales cycle and works closely with potential customers to understand the technical challenges that need to be overcome to meet their business needs.
- You are a strong communicator with excellent (A++) written and presentation skills.
- Extensive experience with the Medical Device Service Industry.
- Respond on time and accurately to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs and develop sound relationships with key technical players in the account.
- Take ownership and act as the interface between customer and the delivery teams to drive complex Medical Device technical issues.
- Accomplish business case development as required in respective to the Medical Device market segments
