Location : Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore
Job Description
As part of the business development team for a specific category, the person will be responsible for:
· Building and Managing a team of business development executives
· Responsible for targets, incentives and revenue for the category
· Building and managing brand relationships in the geography – including deals, preferred pricing and preferred treatment.
· Manage the execution of marketing assignments in the geography
· Building and developing supplier / distributor relationships
· Managing accounts of suppliers / distributors
· Responsible for market research on price data, product movement, competition pricing, product bundling, etc.
· Develop a very good understanding of the category and become an expert on the sales and supply side of the given category
Requisite Skills -
· At least 2 yrs of experience in Vendor Relations, Sales, BD
· Should have “exceptional” communication skill
· MBA(Marketing) is a must.
· Must have handled dealers & distributors and excellent in Vendor Management.
· Experience in Ecommerce industry would be an added advantage
· Extremely good in inter-personal skills – ability in striking conversation borne out with examples in prior work experience
· Should have a good presentation
· Should be an extroverted personality who enjoys being and talking with people, high energy level and a positive approach.
· Should be a quick learner and target oriented.
