Teacher Development Assessment Senior Specialist

Role

·         Identify best practices in pedagogy, learner-centered approaches and inclusive classroom management

·         Research and development of body of knowledge on teacher assessment/development

·         Develop guidelines and frameworks for teacher development/ assessment/ Training

·         Design and implement tools for teacher assessment & development

·         Build capacity (e.g. develop modules and facilitate trainings) for (i) internal team members, and (ii) other stakeholders in the education system

·         Provide training to certify assessors in the field

·         Integrate teacher assessment with other institutional frameworks of excellence

Attributes, Qualification and Experience

·         M.Ed./B.Ed with minimum 4 years of teaching experience

·         Experience with assessment (of individuals and/or institutions) will be an added advantage

·         Ability to critically inquire into educational systems and school related issues

·         Alignment with the overall strategy and values of Foundation

·         Passion for, and commitment to, social change

·         Ability to work in diverse teams

·         Willingness to learn

·         Open to moderate levels of travelling
