Sr.Manager Business Development
For a leading organization in E-commerce Domain
Key Responsibilities:
Lead:
· Hiring, Managing a category team distributed across the country
· The team
Execute:
· Strong bias for Action : Flipkart works at a very rapid pace & that is what would be expected from the category function as well.
· Recognize sources and set up Vendor Accounts for daily business
· Negotiate with vendors/brands for better pricing for our customers
· Complete Ownership of Product Catalog data & Pricing
· Co-ordinate with and assist all internal teams like operations, website, customer support etc for category specific requirements
· Put in processes & metrics to help scaling up.
· Apply Technology to solve problems and build scale wherever possible
· Identifying and solving the challenges of the industry such as Data, Margins, Supply etc.
· Drive Relationships with Key Accounts.
Strategize & Plan:
· Create a sustainable business model in the category for ongoing business
· Constantly improve customer offers, product pricing and product data
Requirements:
· 4-5 years of work experience
· Educational Background from IIT or/and IIM.
· Experience of handling and building a team
· Strong understanding of technology and business
· Must be willing & happy to learn
· Ability to Connect with people across teams & levels
· Strong focus on execution
