Brief Job Description:

The primary purpose of this job role is to implement, administer and monitor J2ee systems and server operating systems

by installing, configuring, monitoring and defining Application server systems in accordance with business requirements and standards.

Experience:

3-6 years of relevant work experience in systems installation and maintenance of JBOSS Application software on Linux

Integration with other system services such as Message Queueing , reporting and database systems

Skill Set Required :

·         Jboss administrators or Linux Administrators working on Jboss (Installation & Configuration)

·         Plan the deployment of J2EE Application Server system hardware / Software

·         Compile reports to management on performance of JBOSS Application server implementations and the Linux operating system

·         Define and maintain standards for completion and acceptance of the JBOSS Application server in accordance with policies and standards

·         Install, configure , administer and operate system hardware/software  for JBOSS Application Server to meet the business requirement

·         Liaise with application and infrastructure team in deployment of new JBOSS Applications

·         Analyse system incidents which includes performance and availability of the JBOSS Application & OS and recommend corrective actions.

·         Perform monitoring / testing activities to ensure system issues are proactively identified and handled.
