OBIEE Lead Developer

Overall Responsibility:

This person will be the lead technical OBIEE Report/ Dashboard developer. This person will have in-depth knowledge of OBIEE Answers and Dashboards. This person will be able to create complex reports and dashboards for Emerson Process Management. Specifications will be provided and this person should be able to read a specification and then create a report or dashboard. This person may also assist in writing the specifications. This person will have good communication skills and be able to work with their manager and co-workers in order to create a productive environment.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

·         4-6 years of experience working in relative field

·         Good communication skills

·         Good understanding of Data Warehousing

·         Good understanding of Oracle DB

·         Understanding of ETL processes is preferred but not required

·         Noetix Analytics preferred but not required

·         Good understanding of OBIEE 10 or 11g (11g preferred)

·         Fair understanding of OBIEE Administrator

·         Ability to work with group BI Team and mentor junior OBIEE developers

·         Ability to recognize issues especially issues with significant impact and proactively escalates issues to management and team members for efficient resolution

·         Able to work in flexible hours.
