Reports to: Regional Director – South Asia
Purpose:
Responsible for the long term viability of the company’s business applications as well as the short term revenue targets in eGovernment Business in India.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic account management and sales team for assigned territory(ies).
- Responsible for overall revenue targets for eGovernment Business in assigned territory(ies).
- Participate in trade shows, event hosting and marketing events.
- Pursue major prospects, business opportunities and lead in major negotiations constructing appropriate terms of sales.
- Responsible for establishing excellent client relationships with strategic customers.
- Supervise, direct and train sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze, identify, develop and implement strategies for business development (new and existing businesses) for local market.
- Work with regional/country team to:
- Monitor and analyze business teams’ budget, sales performance, sales and marketing activities (e.g. campaigns, email mailers, etc)
o Develop impactful and segment-specific business growth strategies and programmes
- Set targets and monitor revenue & pipelines
- Responsible for revenue targets.
- Champion the deepening and expansion of company's domain knowledge and expertise in eGovernment domains.
- Develop proposals with inputs on deal and financial structures, technology, sales pitch and customer/market-specific nuances from other teams in the company and External Business Partners.
- Work with Delivery and External Partners on all costings of the NPV sheet.
- Negotiate with partners and vendors.
- Conduct pre- and post-sales studies and reports on eGovt areas of interest to (actual & potential) customers, translate their needs into concrete business and technical terms so that these opportunities can be converted into real businesses.
- Any other duties as and when assigned
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing/ IT
Supervision Received:
- Broad direction from supervisor
Supervision Exercised:
- Lead and manage team(s) of Executives/ Senior Executives
Experience required:
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience with at least 4 years of experience in interacting with government clients. You must have a proven track record in business development and possess strong negotiation and communication skills
- Team orientation and an ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve targets
