IT Support Level 1 Engineer

Roles And Responsibilities:

This person should have:

·         Hands on Experience of 3 + years on Windows XP and Windows Vista

·         Hands on experience of 2 to 3 years on hardware by HP / Dell for Laptop and desktops

·         Excellent knowledge  on following

ü  MS Office desktop applications

ü  Installation and configuration of various desktop software

ü  DNS, DHCP, Proxy Services.

ü  TCP/IP Protocol                 

ü  Outlook Client Configuration & Troubleshooting

ü  Monitoring real time performances on Desktops.

ü  Fundamentals of  Microsoft Active Directory

ü  Experience on handling escalated issues from Helpdesk.

ü  Maintenance of system data and configuration.

ü  Understanding of Oracle Client installations and connectivity 

·         Excellent Communication skill.

·         Ability to organize and priorities work in an effective manner

Desired Profile:

Education:

  • B.Tech/MCA/B.E/Diploma -  Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications

Experience : 3– 6 years

Mandatory Skills:

·         Windows XP and Windows Vista

·         MS Office Applications

·         Installation and configuration of various desktop software

·         Understanding of Oracle Client installations and connectivity

Additional / Desired Skills

·         Active Directory

·         VM Ware

·         Windows Server 2003
