Content Analyst
Job purpose/overview
The position is for the Global Technical Readiness team at Microsoft. The person would report to the QA Manager would be responsible for editing and publishing tasks for technical trainings for Microsoft.
Responsibilities include:
· Editing, packaging, and publishing tasks for training documents.
· Creating On-line trainings and presentations from available trainings and multimedia content.
· Enhancing captured presentations and online sessions (video clips) using editing tools.
· Coordinating with Subject Matter Experts and Program Managers
Required qualifications include:
ü Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
ü Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
ü Strong editing skills (document editing for completeness, grammar, flow and presentation),
ü Ability to use Office and SharePoint as project collaboration tools
ü Exposure to 'Global English' is a plus
ü Planning skills with demonstrated ability to set appropriate stakeholder expectations and meet scheduling deadlines
Preferred qualifications include:
Ø Experience as a trainer, instructional designer or technical writer
Ø Knowledge of Office application templates and HTML.
