Business Development Manager - Education

Role Summary:

·         Responsible for achieving strategic objectives while maximizing relationship between Microsoft and stakeholders in the education segment in the Public Sector - State Government space. The job entails development and execution of a comprehensive business plan involving sales and marketing engagements, readiness and skills development of accounts from a perspective of strategic and long term projects.

·         This person will be accountable for driving our strategic initiatives in the segment and establishing a predictable rhythm of the business from a 12 to 18 month perspective.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead in State related Education Initiatives.

·         Lead engagement on all Strategic engagements.

·         Drive Preference for Microsoft technologies with various stakeholders and agencies.

·         Partnering with the Technical Specialist to evangelize Microsoft technologies in the Segment.

·         Cross Team Collaboration and Accountability with respect to DPE, MCS and partner community for the projects.

·         Deep working knowledge of Public Sector and communicate and provide guidance to the account teams

 

Customer & Partner Management:

·         Establish and build personal relationships with key stakeholders at the State level as well as key elites.

·         Ensure contribution to the long term revenue goals of the PS team India.

Pre-requisites:

·         Strong Sales Oriented

·         Matured to strike a conversation with senior Bureaucrats.

·         Government Domain person.

·         Strong collaboration and teaming attitude. Should have an experience of driving things in a virtual team.

·         Positive attitude and body language.

·         Minimum experience of around 15 years.
