MANAGER

Purpose:                                                                                                                                              

Ensure the delivery of quality business applications for customers

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Communicate, influence, persuade and lead by example, the core values of the company
  • Identify needs and set priority for the unit that is congruent with corporate goals
  • Lead and manage direct reports towards achievement of common goals
  • Coach, develop and counsel subordinates
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve both long term and short term business goals
  • Responsible for user management, vendor management as well as delivery of projects within cost, schedule and quality
  • Guide staff on project management skills, system analysis and design and programming
  • Ensure business applications are designed and built to be robust, secure, reliable, resilient and auditable
  • Carry out risk assessment and recommend risk mitigation measures to reduce/eradicate risk exposures
  • Lead in the delivery of quality projects within costs and schedule
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of business applications that meet the needs of customers (internal and/or external) by leveraging on re-usable modules for speedy and effective development and deployment of business applications
  • Ensure project plans and activities are endorsed by the Project Steering Committee and properly executed and tracked till successful implementation
  • Adopt QMS and CMMi best practices to ensure quality delivery of projects
  • Provides technical and business advice to customers (internal and/or external) in business applications

Account Technology Specialist

 

The Account Technology Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Account Managers in managing an assigned set of accounts in India. This position will help drive the overall sales strategy in the assigned account.

Responsibilities:

·         Understand the current and future technical challenges for assigned customer segment, and based on that understanding, formulate and execute an overarching technical strategy with specific and detailed tactics to evangelize Microsoft’s products and technologies leading to customer-specific solutions

·         Understand Microsoft and competitive technologies and strategy and formulate plans to address competitive sales efforts. Create, manage, and own sales of Microsoft solutions to CXO-level and technical architect level customers. Integrate and plan for partners and Microsoft Services in efforts to ensure successful transition from pre-sales to deployment

·         Develop and support the sales of solution offerings relevant to the infrastructure and application servers, knowledge workers, and developers

·         Positively impact on customer satisfaction. Build and maintain technical relationships between Microsoft and key technical personnel within assigned accounts, their systems integrators and Microsoft partners and use your technical knowledge and skills to influence these decision makers

·         Provide technical consultation on sales calls, Executive Briefing Center visits and other account related activities by the account team executives

·         Coordinate efforts with other Microsoft and partner personnel, and leverage their activities to help achieve sales objectives

·         Conduct one-to-many presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts

·         Identify customer requirements and counsel account executives and management regarding how to best approach as opportunities.  Provide feedback as appropriate

·         Own and drive closure to sales opportunities within the accounts.

Requirements:

·         Strong technical background with more than 10+ years pre-sales and technology experience

·         Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Microsoft technology to senior business and technical decision makers as well as front-line technologists

·         Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with preferably an MCSE or equivalent professional certification

·         Expertise should include broad and/or in-depth knowledge in the following Microsoft products and technologies: Windows 2008 Server family, Active Directory, Internet Information Server, Office 2010, Windows 7, SQL Server 2008, Exchange 2010, and Visio Studio .NET

·         The candidate must be a self-starter who can take ownership of opportunities, working independently and/or by assembling and leading Microsoft partners, other Technical Specialists and Microsoft consultants as needed.

Role                 : Quality Lead

As a Quality Lead you will be handling language and intercultural learning for managers and individual contributors.   You will ensure program quality through monitoring and executing on program quality goals and their fulfillment, and recommend changes to further enhance quality. 

 

Core Role Requirements:

Required:

Key Responsibilities:

·         Evaluate quality of L&D delivery from needs analysis and feedback to coaching delivery

·         Report on quality metrics and using centralized framework.  Create modifications and updates in line with program needs and India GTSC business support group.

·         Ensure alignment with quality requirements for L&D / coaching delivery

·         Observe training and coaching sessions, and track and report alignment with quality metrics and program guidelines.  Share feedback as needed with L&D specialists, leads and team members.

·         Ensure team compliance with all data-gathering processes and reporting

·         Anticipate emerging program quality needs for serving the business

·         Support effective implementation of impact metrics for language and intercultural learning and quality assurance and driving business value

·         Calibrate on quality of interaction with team standards for written and spoken communication

·         Give input to program manager and leads on developing quality monitoring plans for lines of business served in line with data on staff performance and consultation with managers
·         Evaluate team-members’ progress and complete all reporting requirements as needed, reporting out to program manager, operations manager and leads as needed.
·         Liaise with operations and solutions groups as required.  Keep accurate, up-to-date records.

·         Ensure personal and team alignment with team principles of engagement and team-work

·         Monitor and reduce, eliminate or work around any challenges in effectively serving the business and ensuring team effectiveness

·         Work a 5-day work week with somewhat variable day / night shifts based on business needs.
·         Willingness to consistently work night shifts.  Willingness to work occasional weekends if needed.
·         Other responsibilities / duties as assigned.
