Engineering Managers need to be technical leaders and motivators who are comfortable leading teams in a dynamics environment. The ideal candidate should be self motivated and detail oriented with experience working in a fast-paced software development environment.
Required Skills:
· Java Web development experience on large scale, high-volume sites or web applications.
· Good knowledge of Core Java concepts.
· Experience in at least three of these skills: Spring 3.0 (core, MVC, aop), Hibernate, jquery, JMS, Webservices, memcached, MOngoDB, SOLR.
· Experience with "faster, lighter" Java tools including refactoring IDE's, Spring, Hibernate and other open source technologies.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
− 8+ years of relevant hands-on technical management experience of software engineers.
− Bachelor/ Master's degree in CS/ MS/ IT / related technology (IIT's, REC's, BIT's etc. preferred).
Candidate Profile:
− Ability to thrive in a dynamics and fast changing environment.
− Should be result oriented, proactive and showing overall leadership quality.
− Design and build extremely reliable, scalable and high performing enterprise systems in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible.
− Independently design and architect new features using latest advancements in technology.
− Own end to end availability and performance to company's services.
