Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Core job responsibilities include:

·         Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure we design for testability

·         Create and review test plans, test cases and automation scripts

·         Operate very independently on all types of projects

·         Communicate test strategies, methodologies, and tools to project team

·         Conduct code walkthroughs and analysis

·         Ensure all deliverables meet our quality gates

·         Work effectively with development, program management, technical product planning, technical writers, and editors within the project team and external groups

·         Help our developers analyze and debug issues

Qualifications:

·         The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

·         Outstanding software testing and test automation skills

·         4+ years’ experience in developing and testing software for the Microsoft platform using programming languages, development platforms and tools including  the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, VSTS, .Net Web Services, WCF services, and SQL Server

·         Strong programming skills with C#

·         Proven track record of testing enterprise-scale applications and tools

·         Ability to work within the project teams and across the product groups

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
