System and Network Administrator

Requirements:

1.       Knowledge of Outlook Server Administration (Must Have-Hands on)

2.       Knowledge of Windows 2000/ 2003/ 2008 Server Administration (Must Have)

−    General Administration Planning and Implementation

−    Windows 2003 Security (Knowledge)

−    ADS Administration (Knowledge & Hands On)

−    User Management (Profile, Rights etc.)

−    General Windows 2003 Server skills like

−    DNS Server Administration

−    DHCP Server Administration

−    WINS Server Administration

−    IIS Server Administration

3.       Knowledge of Solaris, Linux Server Administration

−    Installation and configurations.

−    User Management (Profile, Rights etc.)

4.       Experience of maintaining servers with Oracle/Sybase/Ms-SQL databases.

−    Basic knowledge of performing activities such as database and listener startup/shutdown, backups

5.       Knowledge of managing blades such as Sun Sparc, Virtual Machines, NAS such as NetApp filer

6.       Performance tuning and optimization of OS and application servers.

7.       Knowledge of Desktop assembling, troubleshooting and deployment.

8.       Knowledge of LAN and WAN Administration

−    Understanding LAN & WAN Designs

−    Basic understanding of Hubs, Switches etc. (Must Have- Knowledge)     

−    IP Address Management (Must Have- Knowledge)

−    Basic knowledge of Cisco Router Configuration (Hands on)

−    Basic understanding of Firewalls and Network Security Concepts

9.       IT Support Management Skills (Must Have)

−    User Support

−    LAN / WAN Uptime

−    Server Uptime. Server health monitoring(Configuring tools such as zabbix) and resolution of issues.

−    Alerting : Setting up an alerting mechanism (using tools such as Nagios)

−    OS hardening, patching, troubleshooting and maintenance.

−    Troubleshooting and managing technical issues in the development environment.

−    Backup and Recovery Management (Hands on)

−    Virus detection and network vulnerability resolution.

−    Vendor Liasoning for purchase of software and hardware (Hands on)

10.   Documentation Skills (Must Have & Hands on)

−    Software inventory management and compliance.

−    Software license requisition and piracy control.

Java/ Senior Java Developer

Requirements:

·         Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent in computer science

·         At least 2+ years of strong core Java and J2EE programming experience

·         Must have worked in OOPS (Object Oriented Programming) and Multithreading/ Multithreads concepts in projects.

·         Strong on HLD/ LLD (High Level/ Low Level Design).

·         Understanding of Design Patterns (J2EE & GoF), not only on Factory and Singleton (as these are very basic design patterns), but structural/ behavioral as well.

·         Experience in frameworks like Spring, Struts, Web2.0 technologies (GWT/SmartGwt 2.x, ExtJS etc.)

·         Experience of building new applications and working on integration solutions

·         Experience of building large complex applications

·         Contributing at both a design and a development level

·         Database knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server

·         Understanding of Design Patterns (J2EE & GoF)

·         Experience of UML, JUnit

Big Plus:

−    Experience of using one of the following application servers: Tomcat, Jboss, WebSphere, WebLogic

−    Experience of using Active MQ, IBM MQ

−    Performance & Tuning of J2EE application

Nice to Have:

−    Experience of programming in Web Services

−    Understanding of SOAP

−    Understanding of SSO, SSL
